The Romare is our Heritage boot, built with dress shoe aesthetics alongside the comfort and durability of a sneaker underfoot. A water-repellent oiled leather and suede upper is mounted on our rugged Lug sole with welt construction.
- Upper: Premium oiled leather and suede from LWG-certified tanneries, upper hand-stitched in Vietnam
- Insole: 80% recycled PU foam with durable, long-wearing density
- Outsole: Lug Sole (LS) made from 30% natural rubber with welt construction

EXCHANGES AND RETURNS
At CLAE, we want you to be fully satisfied with your purchase. Eligible items may be returned within 30 days of purchase, provided they are unworn, in brand-new condition, and returned with the original CLAE shoe box.
Domestic US Orders
To start a return or exchange for a domestic US order, visit our Return Portal using your order number and the email address used at checkout.
Once your request is approved, you'll receive either a prepaid return label to print or a QR code to present at your postal location.
- Exchanges are free.
- Refunds are available on eligible full-price items, with a $10 handling fee deducted from the refund amount.
- Original shipping charges are non-refundable.
International Orders
To request a refund, please visit our Return Portal and enter your order number and the email address used for your purchase.
- Refunds are available for eligible international orders.
- Exchanges are not available for international orders.
- Return shipping costs and handling fees vary by destination and will be displayed during the return process.
- Duties and taxes are non-refundable.
All footwear must be returned in its original, undamaged, unmarked CLAE shoe box, placed inside a separate shipping box.
Items marked FINAL SALE are not eligible for refunds. Where available, they may only be returned for store credit.
Please allow 5–10 business days after your return has been received for your refund to be processed.
Purchases made through physical retail stores or other online retailers cannot be returned or exchanged through CLAE.
