About KX Lab
The KX LAB in Los Angeles is a prototype for a radically more humane, technologically advanced, and beautiful knit manufacturing facility that brings consumers, products, and the people that make them closer together. Focused specifically on knit footwear and apparel, the 36,000sf facility combines production, R&D, showroom, and retail all under one roof. There���s a garden too.

Please note orders placed after 11:00am PST will be processed the following business day and may take three to five business days for processing.
Shipping & Handling: For your convenience, we offer options depending on the shipping time you prefer. The rate options are automatically calculated based on your shipping address through FedEx or USPS and are minimum shipping time estimates, and do not include processing time frames. CLAE cannot guarantee delivery times.
If you need to add a signature required upon delivery of your order, you may do so by adding the option to your cart prior to checkout. Please note that packages without a signature required are uninsured.
Simply search 'signature' and both options will come up:
- $4.25 for FedEx shipments
- $2.90 for USPS shipments
FedEx cannot deliver to APO, FPO, P.O. Boxes or anywhere outside the continental U.S & CLAE is not responsible for lost or stolen packages. Proof of Delivery may be obtained upon request by emailing support@clae.com.
Different bill to & ship to: CLAE uses several measures to protect our customers from fraud. One of these measures is to check if the shipping and billing addresses provided during checkout are the same. If these addresses do not match, a customer service representative may contact the cardholder to verify the order legitimacy prior to it being processed. In some cases, this may delay the order processing if we are not able to reach the cardholder immediately.
Undelivered & refused shipments that are returned to CLAE are subject to return shipping fees.
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING
International orders take 7 to 21 days to fulfill deliveries and may be subject to Customs inspections which may affect the time of the delivery. Shipping charges are based on the weight of the item(s) shipped to the country of destination.
DUTIES, CUSTOMS AND VAT
International orders are subject to Duties, Customs and Value Added Taxes. These charges MUST be paid upon receipt of your order. Be sure to verify the additional cost you may incur with the authorities of the country the order is being shipped to.
TAX POLICIES
We are required by State and Federal laws to charge sales tax on products and shipping charges of products shipped to states where we have physical stores: California.
EXCHANGES AND RETURNS:
At CLAE we want you to be fully satisfied with your purchase. If, for any reason, you decide you would like to return a full price item, we accept returns in unworn, new condition for refund or exchange. Orders have 30 days from the date of purchase to return eligible items for exchange or refund. All footwear must be returned with the original, undamaged, unmarked CLAE shoe box, inside of a separate shipping box marked with the RMA#. Please note: Return shipping fees are the customer's responsibility.

To initiate a return you will need your order number and the email you used to place the order.
International shipments are not eligible for return or exchange and are considered final sale.
For continental US orders: all sale items are not eligible for refund, only exchange or store credit.
Sale items include all items that have been marked down.
CLAE offers Free Ground shipping to you on your first exchange items for orders within the Continental US. For exchanges outside of the Continental US, standard shipping charges will apply.
- Refunds will be made to the original form of payment.
- CLAE does not refund shipping charges.
- Refused shipments are subject to all applicable shipping charges.
- Physical Retail Store and Other Online Retail Purchases unfortunately cannot be accepted for exchanges or refunds from clae.com
Upon receipt of your returned merchandise, we will proceed with your exchange or refund. Please allow 3-5 days to process your exchange or refund. Exchange requests greater than the original purchase will require an additional payment for any price difference-a separate email containing a link to complete the exchange purchase will be sent for the difference in price from the original order. For PayPal orders greater than the original purchase, CLAE will send an invoice for the difference in price. Exchange orders less than the original purchase will be refunded the difference in price to the original form of payment.
Please Note: When shipping items back to CLAE, customers should choose a shipping service that offers tracking and insure the item for fusull value. CLAE is not responsible for damaged or lost shipments.
