GQ: Sneak Peek: CLAE for AXS Folk Technology Mills Sneakers
Thursday, March 6, 2014

AXS Folk Technology was founded by Kyle Ng as a label that combines an outdoors appeal with a modern, futuristic vibe. Think wool camp shirts with technical zipper details and wide anoraks with elastic drawstrings and a classic inspiration. For Spring-Summer 2014, Ng partnered with CLAE founder and creative director Sung Choi for a shoe that combines CLAE's refined sneakers with AXS Folk Technology's penchant for camp vibes.

The CLAE for AXS Folk Technology Mills takes the cork-sole running sneaker and fuses it with upscale suede, natural leather, and hand-dyed indigo fabrication—channeling one of the best trends of the season. The blue and tan colorway is unique but at the same time versatile—you can wear it with denim, chinos, or even a pair of patterned pants. It's a fun shoe that doesn't draw too much attention to itself. -GQ

About Mills

Blazing its own trail, the Mills delivers a refined runner on a cork wrapped midsole. Mesh toe vamp, neoprene accents and speed lacing join a running outsole for superior performance. Taking everything in stride, the Mills easily distances itself from the pack.

The Mills fits true to size.
